Leadership.

I sometimes feel a conflict within my personality or character when it comes to leadership. I do feel I have a part of me that wants to be a strong leader – and I believe I do let it show through at times. But I believe sometimes my quieter more introvert side can get in the way. Reflecting on that more, I do recognize that I can be a more confident and strong leader when I am leading people I know and am comfortable with, as opposed to me leading a group of people I’ve never met before, for instance. I think overall I’m still growing into a role of a leader and it is probably something that will evolve over my life-time. I hope that I can be recognized as a leader who genuinely cares about the people they lead, and is seen as kind and understanding, as those are things I know I value in a good leader.
